In all the history of serial killers none is so gruesome as Jeffrey Dahmer also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal or Milwaukee Monster. Born May 21, 1960. An American serial killer and sex offender who killed and dismembered seventeen males between 1978 and 1991. Dahmer sought out his victims, mostly Black men, at gay bars, malls, and bus stops, lured them home with promises of money or sex, and gave them alcohol laced with drugs before strangling them to death. He would then engage in sex acts with the corpses before dismembering them and disposing of them, often keeping their skulls or genitals as souvenirs. He frequently took photos of his victims at various stages of the murder process, so he could recollect each act afterward and relive the experience.
Although he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, schizotypal personality disorder, and a psychotic disorder, he was found to be legally sane at his trial. He was convicted of the fifteen of the sixteen homicides he had committed and was sentenced to life in imprisonment on February 17, 1992.
While serving his sentence he was beaten to death by a fellow inmate, Christopher Scarver on November 28, 1994.
Netflix show “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” tells of how he lured the 17 teen boys and young men victims into his home to kill them. He’d discard their bones in a 57-gallon drum he bought for the purpose of disposing of the evidence. The show goes into great detail of the gruesome of the murders and how he avoided getting arrested for so long.
One of Dahmer’s last victims was Oliver Lacy, 24, whose body Dahmer had sex with before dismembering the corpse. He kept Lacy’s head and heart in his refrigerator, and his skeleton in a freezer.
A final would-be victim, Tracy Edwards, was able to escape from Dahmer’s clutches on July 22, 1991, just three days after Dahmer had killed Joseph Bradehoft. Tracy led the police back to Dahmer’s apartment, where they found evidence of his other murders and arrested him.
