Special Halloween Cocktail Drinks

I love a fun cocktail during the holidays or at any party. Halloween has some of my favorites and here are some I make every year.

Brain Cocktail

1/2 oz. peach schnapps

1/2 oz. Bailey’s Irish cream

dash of grenadine

Pour peach schnapps into a glass. Slowly add the Bailey’s Irish cream by pouring over a spoon and top with a dash of grenadine.

Candy Corn Cocktail

1 1/2 cups vodka

1 cup candy corn

3/4 cup pineapple juice or diet 7-up

Ice

1. To make candy corn-infused vodka, mix vodka and candy corn in jar; seal tightly. Let stand at least 4 hours.

2. Strain vodka to remove candy.

3. For each serving, in chilled cocktail shaker, place 1/2 cup infused vodka and 1/4 cup pineapple juice or 7-up; add ice. Shake; pour into martini glass. If desired, garnish each glass with additional candy corn.

Witches Brew

2 oz Vodka

2 oz Triple Sec

2 oz. Blue Curacao

Juice of one Lime

Black Sugar for coating the glass

Pour equal portions of the alcohol into a shaker over cracked ice.

Shake, then strain into a chilled martini glass that has been rimmed with black sugar.

Looks so great on a spooky Halloween decorated table.

Spooky Colada

2 tablespoons light corn syrup

4 drops red food color

1 pouch (10 oz) frozen piña colada (with alcohol)

1. Pour corn syrup into small shallow dish. Add food color; mix with toothpick until combined. Dip rim of cocktail glass in mixture, gently turning to create “bloody” rim. Repeat with second glass.

2. Cut top off pouch; pour piña colada into glasses. Serve immediately.

Black Light Lemonade

*Tonic Water

*Lemonade mix (Any drink mix will work)

*Black light

(mix crystal light in pitcher and use Tonic water instead of water)

Refrigerate your tonic water so that it is nice and cold to serve. You won’t want to put ice in it because it will dilute it. Put tonic water in a pitcher or punch bowl. Stir in drink mix. Serve to your guests!

Must have black light.

Zombie Brain Hemorrhage

1 oz. (30ml) Peach Schnapps

1/2 oz. (15ml) Melon Liqueur

1/4 oz. (7.5ml) Irish Cream

Splash Grenadine

1. Pour peach schnapps into shot glass and add melon liqueur.

2. Top with a layer of irish cream before drizzling with grenadine.
